Reward feature highlight

Busy professionals spend long hours working and struggle to manage their health across multiple apps — one for workouts, another for diet, another for mindfulness. This fragmentation creates frustration, overwhelm, and inconsistency. They run out of time, lose motivation, and feel guilty for not sticking to healthy habits.

"I know I need to take care of myself, but after long hours at work, I feel exhausted and lose motivation."

— Alex, Product Manager

"Between work and parenting, I don’t have time to figure out multiple apps. I need something simple that supports me without adding stress."

— Fatih, Software Engineer & Mom

"I start strong and then fall off track. I need something that keeps me accountable, even on tough days."

— Daniel, Data Analyst

"I don’t need more apps — I need one simple, supportive tool to help them stay accountable and balanced."

— Sara, UX Designer

User interviews highlight fatigue, isolation, and difficulty staying accountable.

In our research, people kept mentioning other apps. They had the content, endless data and guided sessions. But users felt lost, overwhelmed, and alone. What they really wanted was simple guidance, real connection, and a way to stay accountable , not just information.

"MyFitnessPal gives me a lot of data, but I don’t always know what it means for my health. I need clear, actionable steps — not just numbers."

— Alex, Product Manager

Collaborative sketching allowed us to quickly ideate, test, and refine low- and medium-fidelity designs.

From affinity mapping to wireframing, we defined key features and user flows through low-fidelity design.

What was not working?

During my quick testing and feedback gathering, a few key issues emerged:

Screens feel cluttered, violating Miller’s Law

The purpose of the home page felt unclear.

AI feature testing was not possible due to technical issues.

Re-imagining: Asking the right question

How can we simplify the UI to make it more user-friendly and intuitive?

what should users be able to access immediately(Home), and how can we give them more control over these key features?

How can we highlight AI feature to ensure users notice and use AI chat feature effectively?

UI Components

After mapping and designing, it was time to pause, detour, and test our assumptions with real users, to see what truly resonates and what needs refinement.

Task 1: Setting Up a Profile

Users appreciated the guided setup and clear steps.

Some found too many required fields frustrating.

Users encountered confusion with password criteria and profile picture uploads.

Task 2: Finding and adding a workout to their plan

Users liked the variety of workout options.

Some struggled to find recurring options easily.

Misleading labels made it hard to confirm a scheduled workout plan

Task 3: Finding a Recipe Using AI Chatbot

Users found the chatbot intuitive and easy to use.

Some responses were too generic or lacked customization.

AI occasionally misinterpreted dietary preferences.

Task 4: Finding a sport partner

Users liked the filtering options for interests and skill levels.

Matching process felt slow or lacked clear feedback.

Some users experienced issues with message notifications.

Task 5: Earning Cashback for Workouts

Users liked the variety of workout options.

Some struggled to find recurring options easily.

Misleading labels made it hard to confirm a scheduled workout plan

Task 3: Finding a Recipe Using AI Chatbot

Positive: Users found the chatbot intuitive and easy to use.
Negative: Some responses were too generic or lacked customization.
Errors: AI occasionally misinterpreted dietary preferences.

Key learnings that keep me motivated and curious: solving problems through systems, continuous testing, and connecting design to business strategy.

  • Continuous testing is essential. From early usability testing to A/B testing and prototype validation, each method was crucial for refining ideas, uncovering challenges, and creating user-centered solutions.

  • Design solutions should be system-oriented. I learned to focus on solving problems within a larger, scalable system rather than applying quick fixes.

  • Design should connect user needs with business strategy. The reward system was not just a feature — it became a bridge between B2C and B2B, creating value for users while building partnerships and supporting business growth.
